Policy Lead: Sergey Paltsev

Project Description: This project will attempt to assist the development and implementation of well-designed clean energy standards at the U.S. state level and to raise awareness about the significant clean air benefits that such policies confer.  This will be achieved by reaching out to state-level policymakers to disseminate research that estimates the total economic cost and benefits of such policies at the state level.  The initial list of target states includes: Ohio, Minnesota, Indiana, New Jersey. However, if timely opportunities arise in other states they may be added to the list.

IPL Support:  Arranging meetings, identifying contacts, and reviewing policy documents and presentations.
