Faculty Lead: Audun Botterud
Project Description: Dr. Botterud’s research focuses on modeling and analysis of electricity markets and the electric power grid in the United States and Europe. He is preparing a paper comparing European and US electricity market design, identifying best practices and promising directions for cost-effective and reliable low-carbon electricity markets. The IPL is assisting in translating this academic paper into a policy brief and disseminating the research findings to relevant policy makers.
