Faculy Lead: Scott Kemp
Project Description: Professor Kemp directs the MIT Lab for Nuclear Security and Policy and his research includes nuclear nonproliferation issues and related technical analyses. In Spring of 2019, Professor Kemp will hold a semester-long policy workshop on opportunities for Cooperative Threat Reduction on the Korean Peninsula. The results of this workshop will be relevant to government officials in the U.S. and South Korea. The Policy Lab is assisting to develop policy proposals and to conduct outreach to Korean and U.S. officials.
