Principal Investigator: Richard Nielsen
Professor Nielsen’s research examines the impact targeted killing of jihadi clerics has on the spread of their ideology. This research has implications for the cost benefit analysis of U.S. military strategies, including decisions regarding the use of drone strikes. The IPL is assisting in translating this research into policy documents and in providing outreach to public policy makers.
