Faculy Lead: Tony Sinskey
Project Description: Professor Tony Sinskey is the Faculty Director at the Center for Biomedical Innovation (CBI). CBI’s mission is to improve global health by overcoming obstacles to the development and implementation of biomedical innovation. One of the programs at CBI is the Biomanufacturing program (BioMAN) which connects industry, academia, and government to identify challenges and best practices in biologics manufacturing. Over the past five years, CBI has collaborated with University College London (UCL) to host an annual workshop on vaccine process and commercialization. This three-day workshop explores the critical issues at each stage of vaccine development. The IPL will support the addition of a panel of policymakers to discuss regulatory issues surrounding the production and distribution of vaccines.
