Faculy Lead: Chappell Lawson
Project Description: Professor Lawson, along with a group of former policymakers on homeland security recently, recently produced an edited volume on the future of homeland security, which is under review at MIT Press. Each one of the 15 chapters in this book deals with a different topic or “mission set” associated with homeland security. The findings of this book will be relevant to any future changes to policies surrounding homeland security in the U.S. The PL@CIS is working with Professor Lawson to identify specific recommendations from the book and produce a set of policy briefs, which will then be distributed to policymakers and presidential campaigns.
